The Real Deal had her sit down with high-profile Miami architect Kobi Karp at TRD s South Florida Showcase Forum, to riff on the aesthetics now ruling South Florida and share details of what brought the two into the world of design.

Williams said she s known how to play tennis as far back as she can remember, but also fostered a love for influencing 爱上海同城论坛 爱上海同城spaces and the people that occupy them. That s what led her to form V Starr Interiors in the early 2000s.

You re expected to be an athlete, 上海千花网 爱上海同城对对碰but you re not always just an athlete, she said.

The two went on to break down their perspectives on how Miami is evolving as a hub for innovative design, and what makes the city attractive to the outside world. Williams said Miami has become a staple in many franchise businesses like Four Seasons, and the city is also starting to develop its own signature architecture.

Global uncertainty is high about President-elect Donald Trump’s agenda. But in Westchester, regardless of what side of the political fence they’re on, real estate professionals hope that having Trump in the White House will be good for their business.

Local real estate insiders express varying degrees of optimism about Trump’s potential impact on the real estate market in Westchester. He owns or manages properties in the county including the private Trump National Golf Club and the Seven Springs mansion in Bedford, which has been described as a Trump summer family retreat.

Tony Mazzulli, an executive director at Keller Williams Commercial who specializes in investment sales in Westchester, said some of his clients are making postelection decisions based on the high hopes they have for the Trump presidency.

“I am very bullish on Westchester, first of all because of the millennial migration. But with him I also feel consumer confidence is a lot higher,” Mazzulli said. “He’s going to impart a lot of different rules and regulations to help the real estate market.”

Longtime developer Louis Cappelli has had a personal and professional relationship with Trump for more than 20 years. Together they have built several luxury properties in Westchester and Fairfield counties, including the Trump Tower at City Center in White Plains and Trump Plaza in New Rochelle. Trump’s company manages those properties.

The investment firm that manages the family wealth of former Lehman Brothers CEO and Blackstone Group co-founder Peter Peterson is moving its offices to A Pricy Space On Park Avenue.

Peterson Management, headed by Peter’s son, Michael, signed a lease for 40,000 square feet on the 14th floor at Boston Properties’ 399 Park Avenue, sources told The Real Deal. The space includes part of a glass box the landlord built on the rooftop of the building s setbacks and includes outdoor terraces. The rent starts at $130 per square foot and escalates to $150 per square foot toward the end of the 15-year term, according to a source with knowledge of the deal.

Representatives for Boston Properties and Peterson couldn’t be immediately reached for comment.

Seth Hecht at Cushman Wakefield represented Peterson along with Joseph Conwell of the Philadelphia-based GPX Realty Partners.

Along with the Peterson Foundation, the nonprofit that Peter Peterson launched in 2008 to focus on fiscal policy issues, the management shop will be relocating from Paramount Group’s 712 Fifth Avenue, where it occupies more than 26,000 square feet on a handful of leases expiring nex爱上海 爱上海同城手机版t March.

Global Infrastructure Partners inks lease at 1345 Sixth Avenue Infrastructure investor will occupy 30th floor of 50-story Midtown building

Infrastructure investment company Global Infrastructure Partners is moving across town.

上海贵族宝贝 上海千花网龙凤论坛The private equity firm inked a 42,300-square-foot lease for the 30th floor of Fisher Brothers’ 1345 Sixth Avenue,  located between West 54th and 5上海夜网论坛 上海夜网5th streets, according to the Commercial Observer. Asking rent was $95 per square foot, and the lease will last for 16 years and two months.

The move will likely take place in mid-2018. Global Infrastructure Partners is currently located at 12 East 49th Street and has offices in Sydney, London and Stamford as well. The company manages more than $40 billion in assets.

Newmark poaches top hotel I-sales broker Larry Wolfe from Eastdil Move marks biggest defection from firm since Harmon-Spies departure in 2016

Newmark Knight Frank lured away the top hotel-sales team from Eastdil Secured to build up its capital markets group.

The move is Newmark’s biggest poach since it went public last year. And for Eastdil, it’s the company’s biggest loss of talent since the star team headed by Doug Harmon and Adam Spies left for Cushman in late 2016.

Newmark hired Eastd上海千花社区 上海千花网交友il managing directors Adam Etra, Mark Schoenholtz, Lawrence Wolfe and Miles Spencer, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The brokers were in charge of Eastdil’s hospitality division for the eastern ha上海同城对对碰交友社区 上海夜网论坛lf of the U.S., and上海千花网 爱上海同城对对碰 were responsible for deals such as Anbang Insurance Group’s purchase of the Waldorf Astoria in 2015 for $1.95 billion. The team just brokered the closing of Capstone Equities and Highgate s $190 million purchase of the W hotel on Lexington Avenue, now known as the Maxwell.

Newmark CEO Barry Gosin said the company’s pipeline “is pretty full in terms of acquisitions.”

“We’re aggressive上海贵族宝贝交流区 上海贵族宝贝论坛 in pursuit of growth,” he said.

Currently, Newmark has an investment-sales team that includes company president Jimmy Kuhn and brokers David Colen, David Noonan, Jennifer Schwartzman and David Behin.

Even a pricey renovation can’t stop the sky from falling at the Javits Center.

Tuesday’s rain caused significant roof leak爱上海同城对对碰 爱上海同城论坛s at the venue, the New York Post reported. The water was leaking for around 45 minutes, a security guard told the Post.

A spokesperson said the cause was a drainage issue, which a roofi爱上海龙凤419桑拿 上海龙凤论坛sh1fng company is repairing, according to the report.

Following a $500 million renovation, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced another overhaul — costing at least $1 billion. It will expand the Javits Center by 1.2 mi上海贵族宝贝 上海千花网龙凤论坛llion square feet. Testing 1, 2, 3: Zillow puts its own homes for sale ahead of others in search results The company is testing the prioritized placement of homes acquired through Zillow Offers in searches by home buyers

Real estate database company Zillow is testing the placement of company-owned homes at the top of home-search pages, ahead of other homes listed for sale.

The company buys homes in select cities for cash and resells them through its Zillow Offers program. 上海夜网论坛 上海夜网Now Zillow is conducting tests on its website and mobile apps that put its own homes ahead of other listings on search pages.

Inman reported that 22 or 26 homes on the first page of a search for homes for sale in Phoenix, Arizona, were owned by Zillow.

Similarly, Zillow owned all the homes on the first page of search results for homes under $600,000 in Las Vegas.

Zillow users who search f上海贵族宝贝 上海千花网龙凤论坛or homes listed for sale also find the following message next to homes the company doesn’t own: “Buying but need to sell first? Get a Zillow Offer for your home.”

The Zillow Offers program has been available in Phoenix and Las Vegas longer than in any other markets. The program also is available in Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver and Raleigh. Alex Sapir, through his investment firm, the Sapir Corp., is seeking shareholder approval on a deal that will let his relatives bail him out on a luxury condo development under construction in Surfside, a sleepy town north of Miami Beach.

Alex Sapir’s publicly traded company is proposing to use $6 million in deposits for condo units at Arte by Antonio Citterio, to fund overrun costs tied to completing construction of the 12-story project, according to documents filed with the Tel Aviv S上海千花网龙凤论坛 上海千花社区tock Exchange.

Sapir did not immediately return an email request for comment.

The deposits: $3 million from Sapir’s mother, Bella Sapir; and another $3 million from his sister, Ruth Sapir-Barinstein, would be used as short-term loans to finish the building, which by the e阿拉爱上海同城 爱上海龙凤419桑拿nd of December was about two-thirds completed.

The sales are for the two condo units priced at a combined $20 million on the eighth floor of the 16-unit building at 8955 Collins Avenue.
